An Easy Way to Map Parts in IFS Internal Family Systems Therapy using a Free Board I Made on Trello!

I had previously tried to use another IFS practitioner's idea of mapping Parts in IFS therapy using Google Keep. As I worked with my own IFS Practitioner, I could see how mapping the Parts out was a beneficial way to keep information of what their needs were, what they requested from Self to continue to build a relationship of trust, and what category the Part was best to fit into.

Google Keep was a good way to store the information and have it on the go through the mobile app; however, it wasn't laid out in front of me to help me visualize the Parts working together. It also fell short with not having the ability to track the Parts, nor did it keep up with requested activities at certain times.

I tried several different options but wanted the availability of a real-time app that I could use on my laptop and also on my mobile. Then I started to have several hypnotherapy clients who were working through several Parts and began to also need a mapping system of all Parts showing up and requests made by them to continue establishing a relationship of trust with Self.

So, I created this Trello board template for easy mapping, reminders, and future tracking. I will be adding to it as I progress through the Level 1 IFS training. Feel free to share! All you have to do is copy the board and paste it into your own Trello account. It's free!

Feel free to send me a message on the contact page of the website or schedule a time with me for a free phone consultation to learn more about how hypnotherapy can help you access hidden Parts that are having a difficult time revealing themselves to you!

All my best,

Christine
